Meerlust Estate is situated 40 km from Cape Town, South Africa, on the banks of the Eerste River in the district of Stellenbosch

From Cape Town
Take the N2 out of Cape Town following signs for Cape Town International Airport. You will go past the airport. Stay on the N2 now following directions towards Somerset West. Turn off the N2 at Exit 33 ( Baden Powell Drive, R310 – Stellenbosch).
Turn left off the exit in the direction of Stellenbosch. Meerlust is situated on the right hand side, 3kms from the exit. There is a large dam with a windmill on the right hand side just before the Meerlust turnoff.

From Stellenbosch
Take the R44 out of Stellenbosch following signs for Somerset West/Strand. Just after Audacia, which is on your left hand side, turn right onto the Lynedoch/Annandale Road. If you drive past Mooiberge Strawberry Farmstall (which is on the R44) you have gone too far and have missed the Annandale Road turnoff.
Keep on the Annandale Road until you reach the T- Junction. Turn left onto the Baden Powell Drive – R310. Continue for 4 kms. Our turnoff is on the left side just before a large dam; look out for an avenue of trees. If you drive past a large dam with a windmill in it, you have gone too far.
