VINIFICATION
The different cultivars were fermented separately in steel tanks for 10 days. Once blended the wine was matured in Nevers for 18 months. 80% new wood and 20% second fill. After bottling, the wine was further matured for 24 months before release.
TASTING NOTES
Ultra dark, intense plum skin colour, opaque. Ripe, juicy opulent fruit on the nose, with exotic spice and hints of incense. Palate is full bodied, still youthful with vibrant acidity and dense, soft and rounded tannins.
