Decomposed granite mixed with clay
VINIFICATION
Fermentation in steel tanks for 10 days. After pressing, the wine was settled and underwent malo-lactic fermentation in the tanks. Once blended with 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, barrel maturation took place in new Nevers barriques for 24 months. After bottling the wine was further matured for 24 months before release.
TASTING NOTES
The wine has a very rich ruby colour. The nose is typically ripe Merlot, with black and red fruits combined with a rich spiciness and cedar wood perfume. The palate is rich mouth filling, supple and succulent.

10 – 15 years provided the wine has been stored in ideal cellar conditions
